During Sony's conference at Gamescom, they unveiled the newest system update for the PlayStation 4, which will be releasing this fall. This new update (2.00) brings new features such Share Play, letting players create an online local co-op experience by allowing them to invite a friend to join the game -- even when they don’t own a copy themselves. You will be able to play games with your friends just as if you were together in the same room.

System Update 2.00 will also bring app support for YouTube, which lets PS4 owners upload gameplay footage to their YouTube channels directly from their system. The "What's New" section will get enhanced real-time activity through friend-of-friend suggestions, which allows instant access to friends’ recently played game broadcasts. Real name search function will be included as well.
