The official Pokémon Twitter announced that Shigeru Ohmori, the Director behind Pokémon Sun and Moon, will be making an appearance on the Japanese game show Pokénchi. The show is set to air tomorrow, August 6, and Ohmori-san has some information to share about the upcoming 3DS titles Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Little is known about Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. The games were revealed with a short teaser during a Pokémon themed Nintendo Direct in early June, before E3.

In other Pokémon news, Nintendo announced that it would be bringing Pokkén Tournament to the Nintendo Switch in September. Also, Game Freak's Tsunekazu Ishihara announced that the developer would be creating a new core Pokémon game for the Switch during Nintendo's E3 presentation. No details were given about that game though, it may be more than a year until it actually hits store shelves. Nintendo clarified that Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon would remain exclusive to its 3DS hardware.

The Pokémon Company also just announced that they would be releasing a new Pokémon movie about the origins of Ash and Pikachu for a new generation of fans.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon are coming to the Nintendo 3DS simultaneously on November 17.
