The lack of a memory card in the box of the PS Vita definitely ruffled some feathers, but Sony apparently decided to throw potential customers a bone with a new launch bundle for the 3G/Wi-Fi model that comes with $55 of bonus content, including the much coveted memory card.

The bundle, that is already available for preorder on Amazon (that will upgrade all the previous preorders of the 3G/Wi-Fi model to this bundle) still costs $299.99, but it comes with a 3G/Wi-Fi PS Vita, an 8 GB Memory Card, a code to download a free game from the PSN and an AT&T DataConnect Session pass.

You can check out the box past the cut and giggle at the fact that to the left of the sticker that specifies the inclusion of the memory card on the bottom right, there still is the printed warning “Memory Required (Not Included)”.
