During a stage event at the Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival 2015, held today at the Akihabara UDX in Tokyo, Namco Bandai announced a new game dedicated to the Sword Art Online series.

The game is titled Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization and it's for PS4 and PS Vita. It will be released in 2016.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization The game will bring Kirito back to a restored Aincrad, and it will introduce a new heroine.

In addition to the new game, a PS4 "Aincrad Model" has been announced for the Japanese market in both black and white, featuring a laser-etched HDD cover. It will be released with the Sword Art Online: Game Director’s Edition in Japan on November 19th, and pre-orders start tomorrow on Sony's own store.

Incidentally, a new heroine was also announced for the smartphone game Sword Art Online: Code Register, she is named Rin, and wears a sentient face on her hair named Gigappe. It'll be interesting to see if she'll remain limited to the mobile game or will be included in other productions as well.
