New Release Rundown Week of 11/1

on November 2, 2009 9:32 AM

Welcome to yet another week of new releases! From this point on, it is officially time to start thinking about Christmas. This week, the most notable release is Dragon Age: Origins, which sounds more like a Science Fiction novel franchise than a video game. Also we are getting Band Hero, which sounds like the red-headed step child of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. The Wii and DS are getting Need For Speed Nitro, which is a game I actually got some hands on time with at an event a month or two ago, don’t expect the authentic driving feel of Shift though. For all of those who didn’t bother with the Force Unleashed, now we have the Force Unleashed: The Ultimate Sith Edition, which is the original game as well as the DLC and a new level.

Now for the ugly side of releases… Do you all remember the smash hit We Cheer? Well, We Cheer 2 is coming this week for the Wii, so try and hold in all of your excitement. Actually, no offense to you Nintendo fans, but over half of the weekly Nintendo releases are trash, I really wonder who buys some of these games. I think the people that do should be banned from buying games for the rest of their lives…

Oh well, I guess you guys can read the full list of releases, while I go and purchase my copy of Barbie and the Three Musketeers! Remember, all things in moderation, even video games.
