New Release Rundown ~ Week of 4/25/2010

It looks like this week breaks the streak of either lackluster or very few games being released, because we have some pretty nice titles coming out. Once again RPG fans will rejoice with the release of Square-Enix’s NIER, as well as the strategy RPG Record of Agarest War. We also have Super Street Fighter IV, which I know Francois is aching to get his hands on and I assume other fans of fighting games will feel the same way. For sports fans, there are actually a couple titles of note this week – 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa on every console known to mankind, and Tecmo Bowl Throwback via the PSN and XBLA.

Also, aren’t we proud of the PS3 this week? The last few weeks have been dismal for the platform, with one week even holding no releases on any Sony systems. This week the tune has change, however. There are more games hitting store shelves (and various online download services) this week that may interest various gamers, as well, and you can check out the full list after the break.
