We've got a few new details on the game-play style of Kagura Mitsuki, one of the two console exclusive fighters developed for Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma. Kagura players will need to find harmony between his long range normals (just look at the size of that sword!), his multiple attack stances and his charge attack. Although he is a charge character, it was recently stated that Kagura would be a good character for players new to the Blazblue games or to the genre in general.

A few returning game modes have also been confirmed for the console version of the game. These include the challenge mode which contains a list of challenging combos to master with each character (older characters have updated challenge lists), unlimited mars mode which pits players up against overpowered characters manipulated by vicious AI (though this mode is still typically more fair than Persona Arena's score attack mode), and score attack mode which challenges players to beat a sequence of tough foes in as little time as possible.

New screenshots showing Kagura can be viewed below. Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma will hit the PS3 in Japan in October.
