New Screenshots of Virtua Tennis 4 for the PS Vita Show How You’ll Play with the Touch Screen

Sega published today a large batch of screenshots and renders of Virtua Tennis 4 (Power Smash 4) for the Playstation Vita, including the official Japanese box art. The game will be released in Japan on December the 17th.

The renders show some of the professional tennis players that will be available in the game: Roger Federer, Caroline Wozniacki, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Juan Martin del Potro, Maria Sharapova, Andy Roddick, Venus Williams and Ana Ivanović.

The screenshots (that look fantastic) are definitely interesting, as some of them display arrows that pinpoint the movements you’ll be able to do with your fingers on the touch screen in order to control your player. The control scheme looks definitely interesting, but of course we’ll have to wait and see how it’ll actually play.
