New SimCity Developer Diary Shows Why You Should Always Build a Fire Station

Electronic Arts is taking a quite original and interesting approach to promoting SimCity, that will mark the return of the prestigious cit-building franchise next year. Instead of showing us how good the game will look, they’re giving us a glimpse on how it’ll work, without much concern for graphics.

Today the publisher released another brief developer diary video in which¬†Gameplay Lead Dan Moskowitz explains how a city can be easily turned to ashes if we don’t build a fire station, letting the destructive power of the flames run rampant. You can check it out after the cut.
