New Special Edition Wireless Xbox 360 Controllers Releasing in March, Comes in Black or Purple Chrome

The Xbox One may be out and getting all of the attention lately from gamers, but that doesn’t mean Microsoft has left the Xbox 360 out in the cold just yet, with some exclusive new controllers heading over to its previous console this March.

Over on Major Nelson’s blog, a new pair of exclusive wireless controllers were revealed to be releasing for Xbox 360 this spring, with two new chrome series controllers, coming in either black or purple, and will also feature a transforming D-pad in addition to the sleek chrome finish.

The controllers will be retailing for $54.99, and will be available in a variety of locations this March: the black controller will be available exclusively at Walmart, while the purple controller will be available only to Best Buy. Microsoft Stores in the US, however, will carry and offer both controllers at retail locations.
