Star Citizen looks incredible. There aren't two ways to put it. With more and more creative juice poured into the game in the making, and Cryengine 3 pushed so close to its limits than it screams, every new picture and video looks like a benchmark of graphical beauty.

After Citizencon 2014 Cloud Imperium Games published a couple absolutely beautiful videos. The first showcases an updated playthrough of the spectacular "Persistent Universe Demo," meant to show us how the game will play in its MMO incarnation, letting us leave our ships and walk around stations and interact with their facilities.

The second video gives a visual update of some of the game's military starships in the works at the Foundry 42 studio, and even in this one there's a lot to polish our eyes on.

It's hard to believe that almost exactly two years ago Star Citizen was just a crowdfunding campaign that many doubted would ever reach its five million dollars goal. Now it's sitting on over 58 million and speeding towards 60, and I'm pretty proud to say that I was there since the beginning.
