New Star Citizen Video Shows Glimpses of Single Player; Explains Why it Wasn’t Shown at CitizenCon

Cloud Imperium Games planned to show two major demos of Star Citizen at CitizenCon, but only one of them made the cut, and today they released a video showing why.

One of the demo is the one we saw, titled “Homestead,” it showcases a beautiful planet and plenty of gameplay in what will be the persistent universe.

The second demo was a playthrough of a full chapter of the stand-alone single player campaign, Squadron 42. Ultimately, the team decided that it was not ready for showcase, with the hope to show it by the end of the year.
