New Star Wars: Battlefront Confirmed for Next Year; One Star Wars Game a Year For Next 3-4 Years

During Electronic Arts’ quarterly financial call, Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen gave a rough timeline for the Star Wars franchise in the upcoming few years.

According to Jorgensen, there will be a new Star Wars: Battlefront game coming next year, and “at least one Star Wars title a year over the next three or four years.”

The new Star Wars: Battlefront will have “bigger and better worlds” even thanks to the fact that the developers will be able to work off the new movies and not just the historical ones that were portrayed in the first game.

On top of that, Jorgensen added, the new Star Wars game directed by Amy Hennig in development at Motive and Visceral will probably come the following year (2018).
