There are few creatures more classic to the Elder Scrolls franchise than Atronachs, and even more so Flame Atronachs, that appeared several times in the series, both as enemies and as summonable minions.

Today ZeniMax Online Studios released some new assets to give us a taste on how those fiery critters will look and feel like in The Elder Scrolls Online.

We get a finished screenshot, a four-views model display and a lovely piece of concept artwork, in addition to a 50 seconds long trailer that shows the Atronach in action. We also learn about its attacks: the iconic fireball throwing, a geyser of flames erupting from the ground, and the deadly explosion when it finally kicks the proverbial bucket.

You can enjoy the artwork, screenshot and clip just below.
