New The Last of Us Trailer Showcases a New Character, Strong Language

The more info and assets I see about The Last of Us, the more I’m hooked, and I’ve never been a proponent of the absolutely overdone zombie fad. That said, the characters in the game behave in such a realistic way, with such a cinematic and natural acting, that my interest is automatically piqued, overdone zombies or not.

Today Sony Computer Entertainment released a new trailer, introducing a new character named Bill, voiced by veteran actor William Earl Brown. Bill apparently owes Joel a favor, and decides to help him by fixing up a car for him and Ellie. Talking about acting, the exchange between Bill and Ellie is absolutely fantastic, setting itself on another level compared to what we’re used in games, including previous games by Naughty Dog.

You can watch the trailer below and decide for yourself if I’m right or just overhyped. Personally, at least for what cinematics are concerned, I’m sold.
