PS4 Exclusive The Order: 1886 Probably Getting New Trailer Within Two Weeks

Ready at Dawn and Sony Computer Entertainment have been basically in radio silence about The Order: 1886 since first showcase of the game, besides a few exclusive features on Game Informer and some info published for the Japanese market. Lately, though, things seem to have accelerated.

Today a very respected member of the NeoGaf community, Shinobi602 mentioned that the next trailer for the game is coming “Within a couple weeks.” When pinged on twitter, he confirmed that it was indeed insider information.

Besides, on NeoGaf there’s an iron rule stating that if you give this kind of information and can’t back it up with the moderation team, you’re going to be banned without recourse.

This follows some information on gameplay trailer(s) coming from a Sony Employee and a couple interesting posts on the Facebook page of Ready at Dawn founder and Chief Technology Officer Andrea Pessino, showing the game’s staff working hard until 1 AM last Saturday night (you can see them below). The first picture is particularly interesting, as it shows a monitor displaying something that definitely looks like the scene from a trailer.

Besides, the game is still months away from its release. It’s pretty hard to find a reason why the team would be crunching until 1 AM on a Saturday night besides an upcoming major deadline, like polishing a trailer for public consumption.

Finally, there is one more hint to the fact that a big reveal may be coming. Antonio Fucito, Associate editor of the prominent Italian website Multiplayer.it just had an interesting conversation on Twitter:

Antonio Fucito: Departing for London, if anyone wants I’m available for a cup of coffee.

TheDesertFox: Is it your #Destiny?

Antonio Fucito: No, It’s my Order.

Of course all of this should be taken with a grain of salt as there’s no confirmation from Sony Computer Entertainment or Ready at Dawn, but one thing is for sure: The Order: 1886 has piqued the interest of many, and it’s very possibly one of the most anticipated upcoming next generation titles. When the next trailer will drop, a lot of heads will turn.
