New Tomb Raider Final Hours Video Looks Into the Writing Behind Lara’s Origin Story

on October 2, 2012 7:01 PM

Square-Enix has recently released a new installment for their Final Hours series, featuring the many aspects of Crystal Dynamics’ upcoming Tomb Raider. The prequel to the 14 year old franchise has received a lot of skepticism, but Zachary Levi has a chance to speak with lead writer Rhianna Pratchett, narrative designer John Stafford, and creative director Noah Hughes to see the mindset behind Tomb Raider‘s story.

Watch below for some never previously released footage and get more of a glimpse into the events that make Lara Croft the minority-slaying badass she is. This is the first time in nearly a decade that I’ve been remotely interested in tomb raider, so the video was incredibly interesting to me. I’ll be keeping an eye out for the other installments, so check back for more in the future.
