New Trailer Released for Anime Fighter AquaPazza

A new Japanese anime fighter is in development and it looks interesting to say the least. Examu is heading development of the title, but that name probably means very little to you if you aren’t really into Japanese fighting games so let me update you. They are responsible for the arcade version of the popular Arcana Hearts fighting series. The most recent installment was announced for the PSN just last week.

Anyhow, this new fighter, oddly named AquaPazza, will feature a tag team component, colorful anime sprites and some rather eye catching stages and this is all learned from this short trailer. Aesthetically, it brings to mind other anime fighters like Melty Blood and the aforementioned Arcana hearts. There are no firm availability or release date details but the game is currently 70% complete and expected to hit Japanese arcades sometime this year. Hit the break for the trailer.
