Whenever games like Fallout: New Vegas are released you know they’ll be followed up with DLC batches over the year following the original drop date. And I usually tell myself I’ll wait for the inevitable Game of the Year or Ultimate edition that packages the original retail title with all that downloadable content for a MSRP well below the cost of buying each element separately as it comes out. I rarely ever keep that resolution.
Fortunately for all you patient folks out there, the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition is less than three weeks away from release in the U.S. and Europe and packages the game with all four story expansions and two weapons packs for $49.99 on Xbox 360 and PS3 and $39.99 for PC. We’ve got the trailer for you after the jump.
Sold separately, each DLC quest would be $10. So if you bought New Vegas when it was a new title for $60 and paid for each bit when it was released, that’s about a $100+ investment that’s now $50. The game drops Feb. 7 in the U.S. and Feb. 10 in Europe.
