New Video from Microsoft Gives a Preview of Backwards Compatibility on Xbox One

After the surprising reveal at E3 2015, backwards comp ability on Xbox One will officially begin its public rollout on November 12th, 2015 with the New Xbox One Experience, and after officially revealing the initial 100+ games that will be coming to backwards compatibility on the system this week, Microsoft is giving a closer look at how the system will work in a new preview video.

Released through the Xbox YouTube channel, viewers will get a closer look at backwards compatibility in a video walkthrough with Microsoft’s Larry Hryb (aka Major Nelson) and Richard Irving, who show users through downloading/installing backwards compatible Xbox 360 titles, alongside using Xbox One features such as Game DVR, streaming, and taking screenshots from games.

Xbox 360 backwards compatibility officially begins its public rollout with the New Xbox One Experience’s release on November 12th, 2015 – in the meantime, you can check out the full walkthrough video from Microsoft below, along with a promo of the new feature’s launch this week:
