Microsoft just released a quite interesting video showcasing some of the new multiplayer features coming with Xbox One, like the new reputation system, community challenges, dedicated servers and smart match.

In addition to that, another video published in tandem with the first also offers a walkthrough of the new friend list app. This second video was accompanied by an extensive post on Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb’s own blog. It’s a good read and it actually touches on some of the topics mentioned in the first video as well.

You can check both videos out below and see if they make you feel more social.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
