At this year’s Gamescom Blizzard shared a wealth of new details and upcoming content to their MOBA, Heroes of the Storm.

First up is the new character Kharazim, the monk class from Diablo, who is a support character. His abilities include Iron Fists for bonus attack damage, Transcendence to heal himself through melee combat, or Insight to restore mana.

The Infernal Shrines is a new Battleground drawing from Diablo. The three lane map will feature shrines that, when captured, will summon a guardian which will either focus on Arcane, Frozen, or Mortar affixes and push the closest lane.

Rexxar is a World of Warcraft hero who comes with his bear companion, Misha. He is a ranged character, and Misha is a important part of his play style, as she can attack enemies, absorb damage, and stun other heroes with a charge ability.

Artanis is the leader of the Protoss in StarCraft and a melee focused warrior with heavy hitting abilities that are yet to be revealed.

Lastly we have the Medic, also from StarCraft, who is another support character. She has a special ability that summons a dropship, allowing both her and teammates to travel to any point on the map.
