New Xbox One Accolades Trailer is Very Selective, Boasts About Games Months Away from Release

Normally, when you create an accolades trailer, you display games that have already been reviewed, with their review scores and quotes. Microsoft decided to do something a little different with the Xbox One, and traveled a bit ahead in the future.

The new Xbox One “Best Games Accolades” trailer features not only the launch titles for the consoles and their review results (quite selectively of course, which is to be expected and pretty normal in this industry), but it focuses a lot on games that are still months away from release, showing off quotes from previews.

While that’s far from terrible, and definitely smart from a marketing point of view, it’s still kind of funny, and shows that the launch line-up wasn’t exactly that stellar (and it that can be said for both ┬ánew generation consoles, mind you). Check it out below, and see what the future holds.
