Recently, Microsoft announced an updated model of the Xbox One Wireless Adapter is on the way.

According to the company, the new Xbox One Wireless Adapter will hit retail stores on Tuesday, August 8th. The new adapter will support up to 8 controllers simultaneously. Additionally, the newer model will include wireless stereo support and will be 66% smaller than the original adapter, which will allow it to better fit next to other USB devices.

The Xbox One Wireless Adaptor allows Windows 10 owners to play their favorite PC games with an Xbox One controller, instead of using a mouse and keyboard. Alongside a new adapter announced, Microsoft also announced earlier this week that a new line of Xbox One controllers is set to launch very soon.

The adapter will be available for $24.99, and the new line of controllers will cost between $64.99-$69.99 depending on the model you select. However, if you're looking to save a few extra bucks, you can purchase a bundle for $69.99 that will include an adapter and controller.
