Microsoft just made a new system software update available for all Xbox One users, numbered 6.2.13326.0 (xb_rel_1508 13326.0.150810-2029).

The patch notes don’t include many details, but they simply mention that the update prepares our Xbox One for the new user experience coming this fall.

The Xbox team is hard at work building and fine tuning the new Xbox One user experience that will be unveiled to the preview community this Fall. This update will help us to get your console ready to receive the new experience.

Having seen the new UI at work at Gamescom, I can’t honestly wait to see it on my own Xbox One. It’ll come to preview members in September, and to everyone in November.
