One of the main complaints lobbied against Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is that it was too expensive for such a short game. Well, now those who want to buy the game for the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 can do so at a reduced price.

The retail and digital versions of the game will both cost $30. This means that all retail versions of the game, including the ones for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are the exact same price. The lowest price for the game still remains with the digital versions for the last gen consoles which come in at $20.

In addition to this news, Konami also revealed that purchases of the first run of this game come with exclusive Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain DLC. The Mother Base from MGS: Peace Walker is making a comeback to MGSV and this DLC will give players additional resources for their HQ. Any prisoners that are sent to Mother Base in Ground Zeroes will carry over to The Phantom Pain.

The last piece of news concerns the iDROID app. This is an app that will be free to download for iOS, Android or Xbox Smartglass and will act as Snake's in game communication/map device. Once synced to the game, the app will let players bring up the map, call for air support or listen to any of the audio tapes that they find.

So there you have it. This should make people who were upset over the price of the current gen version of Ground Zeroes a bit happier. It's less money for a potentially great experience. What's not to love about that?

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 18th.
