Next Tomb Raider Possibly to be Open World, With a Younger Lara
Plans for the next Tomb Raider seem to be underway, with some information already being brought to attention. In the 218th issue of PC Gamer, the “Spy” section of the magazine claims that the Tomb Raider next in line will have a single open area, and with a younger Lara Croft as the protagonist. The magazine claims,

“Set on a Japanese island, the idea is to have one, cohesive level with multiple ways around the puzzles…We’ll also be exploring Lara’s origins, so she’ll be younger and inexperienced in the ways of raiding tombs.”

This upcoming Tomb Raider game will not be a continuation from The Guardian of Light, but the other games.

Being a gamer since the age of 6 (thanks to my parents), a desire to pursue a career in the gaming industry has been my passion ever since I laid my hands on Sonic the Hedgehog. Some of my favorite games include Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, Duke Nukem 3D, Final Fantasy 6, Killer7 and both the Devil May Cry and Resident Evil series.
