NHL 14’s Enforcer Engine Gameplay Trailer Shows You How To (Properly) Punch Players

EA Sports gives us a delightful trailer showcasing the Enforcer Engine used in NHL 14, which will be released later this year for PS3 and Xbox 360.

According to the trailer, the Enforcer Engine is powered by Fight Night technology, which allows for far more realistic fighting than in past titles. Instead of using the old first person view, the athletes inĀ NHL 14 brawl in a more seamless third person view in which the player can perform a combination of moves such as punching, grappling and knocking the opponent off balance. This new engine seems to be much more fluid and easier to use, which is great considering that fighting is such a big part of hockey (in video games and in the actual sport).
