Today Bandai Namco released about 30 minutes of PS4 gameplay of the upcoming JRPG by Level-5 Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.

The demo, which was playable on the show floor at E3, is split in two parts, with two separate boss battles against a giant brute named Thogg and one at a much higher level, fighting a giant dragon named Longfang.

We also get to see a bit of exploration and dialogue scenes, and it goes without saying that it looks beautiful. Incidentally, we also get to see the control scheme of the game on the DualShock 4.

Featured in the video are protagonist Evan (who has to forge a pact with the Kingsmakers to have his right to rule recognized), his ally from another world Roland, and the young pirate Tani, alongside the Higgledy spirits in action.

You can enjoy the extensive video below, and if you want to see more,  you can also enjoy the E3 trailer, a colorful batch of screenshot and more gameplay, and a second gallery. One thing is for sure: I can’t get enough of this game.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is coming for PS4 and PC, and its release has recently been delayed to January 19th, 2018, when it’ll hit the shelves worldwide.
