Ni No Kuni Has a Name For The Western Market: NI NO KUNI: Wrath of the White Witch

A NeoGAF user discovered today that a trademark has been filed for the Western name of the beautiful-looking JRPG Ni No Kuni, that sees the collaboration between Level 5 and the acclaimed animation studio Ghibli.

The trademark, that can be found here, indicates that the official title will be: Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. I’m definitely pleased to see that Level 5 isn’t afraid to keep the original title in Japanese, while the subtitle is similar to the original: Shiroki Seihai no Joo (The Queen of the White Ash).

The game will be released on the PS3 in the US early next year, and if you’re not excited about it, you are not my friend.
