NieR and Drakengard creator Yoko Taro has stepped under the spotlight again at E3 with his new PS4 NieR game developed in tandem with PlatinumGames.

Recently, he actually opened his own studio, named Bukkoro alongside some interesting colleagues, namely his wife Yukiko Yoko (who worked Art Director for the Taiko Drum Master series) and Nier and Drakengard 3 scenario writer Hana Kikuchi.

At the moment the studio has released only a few series of Stickers for the popular messaging service LINE, and there is no information on its future projects, but considering Yoko Taro’s creativity, it’ll be interesting to keep an eye on him and his team.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
