Screaming Villains, the development studio behind the upcoming cult classic Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition released a new video today showing off some of the games deleted scenes. Originally released in 1992 on Sega CD, the game was later ported to 3DO, MAC OS, and Sega 32X. The 25th Anniversary Edition marks the first time the cult classic will be made available on consoles since its initial launch. For now, feast your eyes on the deleted scenes video, which can be seen in all of its glory below.

There was a Kickstarter campaign launched in 2014 to try to re-release the game as Night Trap: ReVamped. However the game had an unsuccessful campaign falling way under the $330,000 goal and only bringing in $39,843. You would assume that because of this that this would be the last time we would ever hear or see Night Trap, but you would be wrong. Fast forward three years and Screaming Villains announced that they will developing and publishing a re-released version of the game on PS4 and Xbox One, without a Kickstarter Campaign!

Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition is currently scheduled to be released on PS4 and Xbox One later this year. Limited Run Games will be publishing a very limited physical PS4 release of Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition with three different cover variants. At this time, pre-orders are not yet available for the physical release.
