Nightsky Out Now, On Sale for Creator's Birthday

Well, first, we’d like to extend a very happy birthday to the incredibly talented Nicklas Nygren, the game designer (under the pseudonym Nifflas) produced such outstanding indie titles as Knytt Stories and Saira. Nicklas is turning 28, and to celebrate, his brand new game Nightsky is discounted 28% between now and January 9th.

Nightsky, a physics-based puzzle platformer, was released today for PC, published by the fine fellows over at Nicalis, the same people responsible for the WiiWare version of Cave Story. It challenges players to navigate a marble through hundreds of challenges using realistic physics. It features a very unique visual style inspired by Chinese shadow art, as well as a lush ambient soundtrack (available for download here!) by composer Chris Schlarb.

The game has a pricetag of $10, but if you purchase before Monday, you’ll get it for $7.20. Head over to the game’s official site to pick it up. Hopefully we’ll have a full review for you in the near future!
