Ninja Gaiden Hits the Wii U’s Virtual Console

The classic (and notoriously difficult) Ninja Gaiden has finally made it to the Wii U eShop on the Virtual Console, as revealed by a new trailer.

Ninja Gaiden was originally for the NES (later the trilogy was ported to the SNES) and not only had excellent gameplay and controls but was also the first game to use cinematic cutscenes to present the story. It was truly a game ahead of its time, and now that classic can finally be yours (again).

Check out the trailer below for a hit of nostalgia.
