Ninja Theory Explains the Ins and Outs of Hellblade; We Might Get a Beta on PS4

Ninja Theory’s Hellblade is a bit of a wildcard in today’s gaming industry. Defined an AAA game but developed independently by a starting team of 12 people, it surely has a lot to prove, but it also comes with its developer’s pedigree.

During a developer session at EGX 2014, Product Development Ninja Dominic Matthews gave the rundown on the game, and also mentioned something quite interesting: as part of the open development process, we’re going to get our hands on the game early with beta testing sessions.

Considering that Hellblade will be released “first on PS4,” it’s pretty safe to assume that said beta will happen on Sony’s console, and I’m quite eager to give it a try. Unfortunately, though, it might be quite a while before the game will be ready to be tested.
