Nintendo has shown off on its Japanese website the XL Circle Pad Pro for the Nintendo 3DS XL.

No price details or information for a western release have been given for the add on. The non-inclusion of the 2nd stick built into the system is a mystery but Nintendo did address the concerns of the lack of a compatible Circle Pad Pro for the system.

Those with games that take advantage of the peripheral will want to consider importing if no western released is announced.
