Nintendo Adds Eight Titles to Nintendo Selects Line for $20; New Game Bundles with amiibo

Nintendo’s consoles have been known for offering plenty of the company’s best games and series, and now those that have missed out on some of the best titles for the Wii U and 3DS will get to experience even more with additional titles that have been discounted to a lower price.

Nintendo has announced that eight new titles have been added to the company’s “Nintendo Selects” line of titles, which brings some of the best-selling games for their platforms down to $19.99. The new titles added for both Wii U and 3DS are below, with their new prices to go into effect on August 26th, 2016:

Wii U

  • The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
  • Lego City Undercover
  • Nintendo Land

3DS

  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf
  • Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins
  • Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon
  • Nintendogs + Cats: Golden Retriever & New Friends
  • Tomodatchi Life

Along with the price drops on the selected new games for Wii U and 3DS, Nintendo will also be offering a line of best-selling games that will bundle together both the game and an accompanying amiibo figurine to go with them. Five new game bundles will be in stores on September 9th, 2016 for $39.99 each, with the list of new game/amiibo bundles below:

  • Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker with Toad
  • Mario Party 10 with Bowser
  • Mario Party with Peach
  • Yoshi’s Woolly World with Light Blue Yarn Yoshi
  • Yoshi’s Woolly World with Pink Yarn Yoshi

The final new addition will also be a bundle with for the company’s New Nintendo 3DS that originally released last year, with the new console bundle to include a pre-installed copy of Super Mario 3D Land. The New 3DS bundle will be releasing on August 26th, 2016 for $149.99, marking a $50 discount from previous New 3DS offerings.
