A surprising announcement made its way on Twitter today, revealing that Nintendo America would be guest starring on Cake Wars on July 20th:

Cake Wars is a Food Network show that has chefs competing to have their decorative cake featured at special events.

Keeping this in mind, the special event is most likely one sponsored by Nintendo itself. The question remains on whether the gaming company will have an announcement of their own during the show, however.
