With Splatoon 2's Global Testfire rounding the corner, Nintendo has announced what stages eager players can expect to find. Revealed in a brief Squid Research Labs Tumblr post, the two stages are The Reef and Musselforge Fitness. In other words, don't expect the tantalizing new concert venue-themed stage, nor Moray Towers from the original Splatoon.

Little is known about the two stages -- all we really have seen are the pictures (below) and some cameo shots in various trailers that have been released for the upcoming third-person multiplayer shooter.

Another tidbit of information shared about the Global Testfire is that both of these levels will be alternating randomly -- you won't be able to select one or the other in the pre-release beta.

Nearly a month ago, Nintendo revealed that Splatoon 2 would be getting a Global Testfire on Nintendo Switch from March 24 to March 26, during six one-hour intervals. The Testfire will only feature four main weapons -- the Splat Dualies, Splat Roller, Splat Charger and an unannounced weapon.

Splatoon 2 is aiming for a fairly vague Summer 2017 release, with not much beyond that known. Check the two images of the new stages below:
