Nintendo announced during today’s Direct that select Wii titles would be coming digitally to the Wii U eShop in Japan. The lineup begins with Super Mario Galaxy, which became available once the Direct was finished. Punch Out will be coming in June, and Hospital: 6 Doctors (which is known as Trauma Team in North America) in July. These titles will be 30% off during the first two weeks of release, cutting the regular price of 2,700 yen to 1,890 yen.
Super Mario Galaxy is perhaps one of the greatest games ever made, with a 97 on Metacritic. Punch Out is the Wii motion remake of Punch Out on NES, and Hospital: 6 Doctors is medical simulation game from Atlus that follows six different characters as their plots converge around a deadly virus.
