Nintendo Celebrating Zelda’s 30th Anniversary with New Classic amiibo; Skyward Sword Now Available on Wii U eShop

This year happens to be a big year for The Legend of Zelda franchise as the landmark series reaches its 30th anniversary, with Nintendo celebrating the big milestone with new amiibo, releases, and more for the most diehard Zelda fans.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced several new items releasing this holiday to coincide with the series’ 30th anniversary, including a line of new amiibo modeled after classic Zelda games, and a new set of art books from Dark Horse Comics that will feature tons of artwork from throughout the history of the series.

In addition to the new items, Nintendo has also made The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword available today to download from the Wii U eShop.
