Nintendo Downloads for Memorial Day 5/30/11

on May 30, 2011 2:30 PM

It’s Memorial Day, but that doesn’t stop Nintendo from keeping up with their promise to release their handful of downloadable titles each and every week. This week we have two WiiWare games, a single Virtual Console download, and an impressive four DSiWare titles. If you find time in between BBQ’s today to download some videogames, here’s a breakdown of the new options you have on your Nintendo systems. I just want to note that I love games like FAST — Racing League that are set in a fictional and distant future. They set themselves up for disappointment, because, when 2112 finally arrives, I’m going to point out how wrong the game was. It worked for Terminator, and it’ll work here. Click below on “Continue Reading.” for more, and enjoy!

When the action gets too intense to manage on your own, hook up with a friend in multiplayer mode to battle your way through the bullets. While intense action is the game’s chief focus, its multiple weapons, upgradeable equipment and destructible environment further enrich the experience.

Earn money to buy a cool car and drive it to the beach in style. Don’t let the VIP guests wait any longer. Put on your vest and push the pedal to the metal.

There you have it — did any of these titles catch your eye? None did for me. Outside of Super Adventure Island for some and those who truly enjoy demos, I don’t think many of you found these games all too exciting either. Hopefully next week (when Nintendo 3DS eShop releases) we will have a bigger reason to get some Nintendo points!
