Nintendo recently revealed an upcoming eShop sale for US and Canada, starting June 14th:

The ad -- posted above -- continues that special bonuses await those who are current My Nintendo members, followed by directions on how to link Wii U and 3DS eShop accounts to your My Nintendo account. Most likely the bonus with either be additional gold coins, more discounts or even a free game.
