While Nintendo's Wii U has been available in European countries for the better part of three years, not all countries have had access to Nintendo's eShop. First available on Nintendo 3DS's on June 6, 2011 and Wii U on November 18, 2012, the eShop has been notoriously unavailable for many European countries, specifically Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Hungary.

However, according to UltimatePisman development department, Nintendo is set to bring the eShop to the remaining countries on December 10, 2015. Interestingly, the eShop will only be available in English and will only be accepting Euros.
