Nintendo Network is Having a 10 Hour Maintenance Following Pokemon Splatfest

on February 19, 2016 2:48 PM

Those looking forward to last-minute weekend online sessions are out of luck — according to Nintendo’s Support page, Nintendo Network will be undergoing scheduled maintenance. The maintenance will affect both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, beginning Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 8 PM ET and ending Monday, February 22, 2016 at 6 AM ET.

Luckily, this maintenance takes place after the much-hyped Pokemon themed Splatfest, so don’t worry about possible interference. The maintenance includes throttling of leaderboards and online play, though I would speculate that┬áMy Nintendo/Nintendo Accounts integration is being added on the back end.
