Nintendo Receives Overwhelming Amount of Applications for Creators Program, Company “Appreciates Your Patience” Working Through Them

on February 5, 2015 10:33 AM

Within the last few weeks, Nintendo surprise reveal of the Nintendo Creators Program, where YouTube channels/users can register through the program to host and create content using Nintendo-produced titles, received both warm and critical reception to some of its guidelines, though it seems the program has already started off on an overwhelmingly-high note.

In a statement released by Nintendo, the company detailed that application numbers for the Nintendo Creators Program have been at a higher volume than expected, and that while sorting through and approving applications has been a longer process than originally thought, the company appreciates the support and patience YouTube users have had.

In addition to the note from Nintendo, the company also released a few notes on what YouTube channel owners can do to help speed the process of receiving an approved application along, with the full list of terms and suggestions available below.
