Nintendo Reveals Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, and More Coming to Mobile (UPDATE)

[UPDATE: 4/27/16 – Following the previous report that said the release date of Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing titles for mobile was unknown, Nintendo has confirmed that both titles will be releasing this fall.]

On top of the reveal that Nintendo’s next home console will be arriving in March 2017, the company also shared a few tidbits of smaller information this morning, with the company officially revealing that Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing will each be making their mobile debut in the near future.

Nintendo revealed through Twitter among the titles that the company will be creating for mobile devices will be new games based on Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing, though no more specific details on either title were revealed or given a release window just yet.

Currently, Nintendo has expanded out to developing games for mobile with this year’s release of Miitomo, while other titles are planned for later this year such as the upcoming Pokemon GO.
