For those of you just getting your hands on The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, you just might have some more awesome news to excite you and look forward to next year's new Super Smash Bros. titles.

Nintendo has revealed on its official Smash Bros. website that Toon Link is the next fighter to be heading into battle with Nintendo's line-up of brawlers, complete with his array of weapons and tools from The Wind Waker, including the famous baton. You can check out a ton of screenshots from both the upcoming Wii U and 3DS versions below for more of the (cartoon-y) Hero of Time in the new Smash Bros.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS are both currently under development and will be releasing in 2014.
