Nintendo has certainly taken its sweet time in revealing the NX, but at least today we have a chance to know a bit more about the upcoming console, which has now been renamed “Nintendo Switch.”

As announced yesterday, the console manufacturer from Kyoto released a preview trailer giving an overview of the feature of the new machine.

“Introducing Nintendo Switch! In addition to providing single and multiplayer thrills at home, the Nintendo Switch system also enables gamers to play the same title wherever, whenever and with whomever they choose. The mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system to enable unprecedented new video game play styles.”

The trailer also showcases the fact that the Switch uses cartridges, and shows what appears to be a couple of third party games. One definitely looks like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim even if an official announcement did not come yet.
