Nintendo Switch's launch window is slowly but surely growing. Following Nicalis' announcement that The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ would be a Nintendo Switch launch game, indie developer Yacht Club Games revealed that the recently announced Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment would be coming first to Nintendo Switch.

For those who missed the announcement, Treasure Trove includes:

  • Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope
  • Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows
  • Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment (rel. April 2017)
  • Shovel Knight: King Knight's Campaign (rel. 2017)
  • Shovel Knight: Battle Mode (rel. 2017)

Those looking to grab Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove on Switch can grab the collection for $24.99; meanwhile if you are just hyped for the incoming Specter of Torment campaign, you can grab a standalone version for $9.99.

Along with the price, Yacht Club confirmed that players will be able to use the Joy-Cons for co-op play.

For those who own a copy of Shovel Knight already on another console, fret not -- Treasure Trove will be a free upgrade.

While there is no exact date on when exactly Treasure Trove or Specter of Torment will launch on Nintendo Switch, Yacht Club did mention it falling in the console's "launch window." More importantly, it will come before the April 2017 launch date on other consoles.

Shovel Knight and Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, and PC.
